It compares median household incomes to annual mortgage payments, median prices to median household incomes, the number of years it would take the median household to save for the median-priced home, actual prices to those that would exist in a market with zero constraints, and a how far each market is above/below that threshold over time. This report is updated quarterly, within one month after the end of a quarter.
